New York Mets
Juan Soto transforms this lineup instantly. Lindor, Alonso (if re-signed), and now Soto gives them the best 1-2-3 in baseball. Rotation still has questions, but the offense will carry them. Price is fair but not a bargain—they're appropriately favored.
Los Angeles Dodgers
Back-to-back World Series champs with the deepest roster in baseball. Lost Buehler but added Edwin Diaz to lock down the 9th. Ohtani, Betts, Freeman—the core is still elite. Know how to win in October. Never count them out.
Atlanta Braves
The market is sleeping on a healthy Acuna. This is the same core that won 104 games when fully healthy. Rotation is still elite with Fried, Strider, and Sale. If Acuna plays 140+ games, this price is way too long. Best value on the board.
Baltimore Orioles
Young core entering prime years, plus major additions (Alonso, Helsley, Ward, Baz). This team is built to win now. Pitching depth improved significantly. Could be the team that breaks through in the AL. Attractive price for their talent level.
Our Value Picks
Best Bet: Atlanta Braves
This is the same organization that dominated the NL for years. Healthy Acuna is an MVP. The rotation with Fried, Strider, Sale, and Lopez is deep. The market has overcorrected after their 2025 disappointment. At 14-1, you're getting excellent value on a proven winner.
Sleeper Value: Toronto Blue Jays
Dylan Cease is the missing piece. Cease-Gausman-Berrios is an elite playoff rotation. Vladdy committed to staying, Bo healthy again. This team underperformed in 2025 but has the talent for a deep run. 18-1 is too long for this roster.
AL Longshot: Seattle Mariners
Best pitching staff in baseball when healthy. If the offense clicks even 10% better than 2025, this team wins 95+ games. Pitching wins in October. At 25-1, worth a small futures bet on a team that could dominate a playoff series with their arms.
Fade: New York Mets at +550
Not saying they can't win—they absolutely can. But +550 offers no value. Rotation has questions (Senga health, Severino inconsistency). Better prices available on similarly talented teams. If you want Mets exposure, wait for regular season adversity to lengthen the price.
